Sir Lancelot Spratt is giving his medical students a slating to remember over a patient. The patient himself is Dr Richard Hare, a student who has fallen ill with jaundice and, due to the enticing Night Nurse, has fallen in love. So too, however, has the doctor attending his case, and both are shattered when she walks out of their lives. After recovering, Richard sets off to troubled pastures new, and no sooner has he fallen in love again, then along comes his formerly beloved Night Nurse!
