Reviews

"Drs. Hollenbaugh and Lewis have crafted a remarkably comprehensive and extremely useful guide for clinicians interested in conducting DBT with adolescents. Each chapter is rich with research that supports DBT's efficacy with a particular diagnosis, guidelines for adopting the treatment in various clinical settings, and common barriers to implementation. This book is a must read for those mental health professionals who have a foundational understanding of standard DBT and wish to adopt the treatment for adolescents with a variety of diagnoses and in different settings."—Michael R. Hollander, PhD, director of training and consultation at 3East DBT Programs and assistant professor of psychology, Department of Psychiatry, Harvard Medical School"Creating an effective DBT program for adolescents presents big challenges for clinicians and administrators, including who to treat and how to structure the treatment setting. This book provides guidance from seasoned professionals who generously share what they’ve learned and refined over years of practice. I recommend this resource for anyone looking to establish or improve their DBT program for adolescents."—Cedar R. Koons, LCSW, DBT consultant and trainer, author of The Mindfulness Solution for Intense Emotions: Take Control of Borderline Personality Disorder with DBT
