Homa Sabet Tavangar is the author of widely acclaimed Growing Up Global: Raising Children to Be At Home in the World (Random House, 2009), which has been praised by international education, business leaders and media including Dr. Jane Goodall, NPR, NBC, ABC, PBS, Boston Globe, Scholastic, and many more. Homa has lived on four continents, speaks three-and-a-half languages, and is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of UCLA and Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. Known for her exuberant illustrations, Sophie Fatus is a French artist who lives and works in Florence, Italy. She has illustrated a number of top-selling products for Barefoot Books, including the Yoga Pretzels activity deck (2005) and the follow-up picture book My Daddy is a Pretzel (2012). She is also the illustrator of several books in the Stories from Around the World: 4 Tales of Problem-Solving & Wit set (Barefoot Books, 2019).
