About the Author

Toyin Falola is the Frances Higginbotham Nalle Centennial Professor at the University of Texas in Austin, Texas. He is also a Fellow of the Nigerian Academy of Letters. Ann Genova is a doctoral candidate at the University of Texas in Austin and recipient of the Patrice Lumumba Fellowship from the Center of African-American Studies at the University of Texas.
