About the Author

Alejandro Turbay, Master of Science in Strategic Leadership towards Sustainability, was born in Colombia and grew up in New York City. He completed undergraduate studies in advertising and communications, but found this was not his path and began working in sustainable development. Currently, he works in sustainable development consulting in Colombia, where he collaborates with social development organisations. Funmilayo Akinosi's research interests lie in sustainable economic growth in developing economies. She has worked with the African Development Bank, the International Trade Centre, and as a solicitor on public private partnerships in Nigeria. Daniel Nordlund, Master of Science in Strategic Leadership towards Sustainability, has a long background as a communications consultant working with large organisations. He lives in Stockholm and is currently involved in social enterprise and microfinance projects.
