Rev. Dr. Mary B. Johnson is the author of numerous articles and currently lives in New England. Her travels and assignments with her career military husband in Texas, Colorado, California, and New Hampshire have greatly enriched this beautiful book of poetry reflecting a deep understanding of our country and its people and history. While being born in West Virginia, Dr. Johnson was raised in Oklahoma and Kansas and spent the summers in Washington, DC, Maryland, Alabama, Ohio, and Virginia. This diversity of her experience and her background in commercial art creates a magical visual experience in her writing that leaves us uplifted, inspired, and hope filled. Dr. Johnson holds a Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology, a Master's in Theology, and a Bachelor's in History. She is a state licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, a Nationally Certified Pastoral Counselor, a Nationally Certified Counselor and an experienced state licensed psychotherapist. She has been listed in "Who's Who In Religion" and "Who's Who In Human Services". Dr. Johnson has served as a pastor in Methodist, Congregational, Independent, and Assembly Of God Churches. She has extensive experience as a Hospital Chaplain, Counseling Center Director, Clinical Supervisor, and psychotherapist. The nature of her healing work is reflected in the healing experience encountered by the reader discovering her writing for the first time. Her writing is beautiful, inspirational, riveting, non-judgmental, and hope filled. She is the mother of 2 sons and enjoys gardening, traveling, preaching, public speaking, genealogy, consulting, and summers on the Maine seacoast. Dr. Johnson is working on two more books soon to be released: "Healing Streams" And "Seasons Of Life".
