A collection of independent short films all based around the matrix theme and idea, most of them running parallel or close to the original trilogy. The films study the ideals behind the matrix in animation and export what can't be done in the movie into cartoon form. Morales are questioned, difficult decisions are made and the same old good action can be found in this movie.

This movie set contains various animated shorts that tie in with the movies, and they are a really good addition to any Matrix fans film collection. they show different views to the Matrix, outside of Neo's views, opening more aspects of the Matrix, and how those who know about it live. everytime i watch the Matrix movies, i finish by watching the Animatrix.
