ITS ALL IN THE MIND: It does not often happen that Sid is able to get home from work early, but when he con, he does and this time it does not do him much good. It is not so much that he jumps to conclusions but when he sees it with his own eyes and hears it with his own ears - he has to take some action - and when he does the generation gap in the Abbott family household widens to a chasm.

Jeans new hair-do not withstanding, he sticks by his guns, but quickly changes his mind when Geoffrey arrives and agrees to take Sally to the park. His fears are justified when Sally tells of her plans - and Mike does not help by agreeing with her.
