British spy thriller set during the Cold War starring Laurence Harvey, Mia Farrow and Tom Courtenay. Eberlin (Harvey) is a highly reputable double agent based in West Berlin working for British and Soviet intelligence agencies. After many years of espionage he is weary and looking to retire, however, his latest British assignment proves to be his most challenging yet. He is tasked with taking out a deadly Russian spy named Krasnevin but there is a problem: Eberlin is Krasnevin.

A 60's type spy drama - somewhere between Bond and le Carre - where a British double-agent is commissioned to eliminate an Eastern bloc agent, who is actually himself. Entertaining and confusing - but, in those days, did we really go for waif-like (skinny) girls, like Mia Farrow?
