French drama starring Isabelle Adjani as Elle, a provocative 19-year-old who moves to a quiet town in the south of France with her introverted mother (Maria Machado) and disabled father (Michel Galabru). Elle's presence around town disrupts the usually sedate way of life and she quickly captivates mechanic Pin Pon (Alain Souchon), however, as their relationship develops Elle has a more sinister motive for wishing to be with Pin Pon which results in disastrous consequences for all involved.
