With an all star cast I expected this movie to be interesting and fast paced. Unfortunately, I found it to be long, drawn out and quite boring. Matt Damon's character was very cold (as intended) and his acting was great. I found the plot a bit confusing and hard to follow which is not surprising given it was a movie about the CIA! Would recommend watching this movie when you are in the mood for a 'heavy' type of movie. I definitely wouldn't classify it was light entertainment.

The good shepherd is quite possibly the best movie i had seen all year. Directed by Robert De Nero - who also does a couple of cameos - the good shepherd is taught thriller which revolves around Matt Damon, who is very very good. The movie tells the story of a CIA agent who has lived by the book and for his work his whole life, but now his work has endangered his family. A superb movie that everyone should see.
