George A. Romero Land Of The Dead is the acclaimed directors long-awaited return to the horror genre he invented.
In this new tale, Romero creates a vision of a modern-day world where the walking dead roam an uninhabited wasteland and the living try to lead normal lives in a walled city. A new society has been built by a handful of ruthless opportunists, who live in the towers of a skyscraper, high above the existence on the streets below. But outside the city walls, an army of the dead is evolving. Inside, anarchy is on the rise. With the very survival of the city at stake, a group of hardened mercenaries is called into action to protect the living from an army of the dead.

I usually like zombie movies, but this one wasn't anything amazing. Parts of it looked too fake and I ended up getting bored in parts. It was an okay movie for the plot but Resident Evil will always beat any other zombie movie... well in my eyes anyway ^_~

This is a great zombie movie, unlike the others like the residne tevils where there is an outbreak and they try to containt he problem this movie is after the problem is outa control and man is in hiding from the zombies, it really provides a good sequel to dawn of the dead as dawn of the dead is when they start taking over

Best zombie movie ever! In this installment, the world is post apocolyptic, and the city is set up as a compound. At the same time, the zombie are learning, so this time they are a much more formidible opponent, and this story is suprisingly engrossing. I couldn't even tear myself away from the tv to get a drink during the movie- A++

I didnt think that i would enjoy this but i really did. its sort of a take off of dawn of the dead as most of the living humans have taken shelter and started to set up towns. with exellent defense systems and crack shot people, what should go worng? but when the dead start to get smarter they have something new on their hands. A good watch of a horror movie.
