This is yet another Stanley Kubrick clasic, a dark (very dark) comedy about the end of the world. Peter Sellers plays three roles supremely well - everyone remembers the brilliantly twisted title character, but his President Muffley is equally good, especially during the phone conversation with the Russian premier. Brilliantly constructed, superbly directed with a script brimming with quotable dialogue. A hands down classic.
