Although it was published two years ago, this detailed guide to around 200 CinemaScope movies is more popular than ever, because nearly all these films are now being re-issued as DVDs in response to the introduction of wide-screen TV. For online buyers, the book, with its extremely detailed credits and reviews, is invaluable. For those who like to visit shops personally, the book does present a bit of a problem, because it's far too heavy and bulky to carry around. But it's still great to refer to, and has some nice reproductions of original cinema posters as well (in black-and-white, alas, although both front and back covers are in full, glossy color).
