About the Author

Robert M. Gorman and David Weeks work at Winthrop University's Dacus Library, where Gorman is head of the reference department and Weeks is head of library instruction. They received the McFarland - SABR Baseball Research Award in 2003 for the article "Foul Play: Fan Fatalities in Twentieth-Century Organized Baseball." Both authors live in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
