Reviews

"Rush Limbaugh, Jr., the radio talk host, now overshadows his grandfather, but it is in his grandfather's shadow in which he grew. In The Original Rush Limbaugh Dennis Boman perceptively recreates the rich one hundred-and-four year life of Rush Limbaugh, Sr.--a poor farm boy who grew up into an idealistic Progressive era attorney; a small town lawyer who acquired a taste for large, even international, interests; a strong supporter of the post-World War II Civil Rights Movement; and the patriarch of a family of talented lawyers and judges. Of special interest are Boman's chapters on Limbaugh's leadership of the impeachment of Missouri State Treasurer Larry Brunk and his role as a special prosecutor in the sensational child-kidnapping trial of Nelle Muench."--Kenneth H. Winn, Director of the Missouri Supreme Court Library & Public Services
